Paxton are one of the European market leaders in electronic access control. They have achieved this through 30 years of innovation; creating simple yet intelligent products to provide reliable security to small and medium sized buildings. Their USP in this competitive market is the exceptional level of support and service they offer to their customers 6 days a week 52 weeks a year so when they needed ESD protection at their manufacturing facility in Eastbourne they naturally chose Ecotile interlocking floor tiles.
1. Paxton needed the flexibility to change their production layout as they grow
2. Production is 24/7 so they needed a floor that could be installed while they continued to work
3. The flooring solution needed to be exceptionally robust, durable and easy to maintain whilst meeting British and European standards for ESD .
4. Paxton were looking for a partner that would offer them the same level of service that they provide to their customers
Market-leading manufacturer of interlocking floor tiles, Ecotile, designs and produces its comprehensive range at its UK production facility – providing durable and safe flooring solutions that can be installed with minimal disruption in commercial and industrial applications around the world.
“We worked closely with Paxton to ensure we installed their floor as quickly and efficiently as possible without disruption to production. Our interlocking floor tiles can be dry laid over any hard surface with minimal preparation and long term maintenance will also be hassle free. All our tiles are guaranteed for ten years and the ESD performance will match the lifetime of the tile.”
James Gedye, Managing Director, Ecotile
“Ecotile was the most practical solution as we didn’t need to stop production for a moment and we were amazed how quickly it was completed. Because we’re growing so quickly we wanted to maintain our quality standards, which are high anyway, by installing a floor that offered anti-static or ESD protection and Ecotile was the only product that met our needs in terms of flexibility. We considered vinyl but after seeing how Ecotile works at Siemens in Poole it was a very easy decision and employee feedback has been 100% positive”
Alan Pavey, Operations Co-Ordinator, Paxton
