MKC Training Services Ltd (MKCTS) is a dynamic and innovative company working as part of the Holdfast Training Services (HTS) consortium in a 30 year Public Private Partnership (PPP) with the Ministry of Defence. Established in 2009. MKCTS designs, manages and delivers a wide range of artisan, technical and professional training in construction and engineering skills for Royal Engineer Officers and Soldiers at the Royal School of Military Engineering. Located ‘inside the wire’ at Brompton Barracks and with some 30% of its staff having a military background, many in fact former Royal Engineers, MKCTS has sought to develop a keen awareness of the needs and aspirations of both current and former service personnel and their families.
The Challenge – Why Did MKC Training Services Need A New Floor?

- MKC Training Services wanted to improve the appearance of the Fabricator floor permanently as they had to repaint the existing concrete frequently.
- It is a high traffic area so the floor needed to be tough and durable and easy to maintain.
- Safety is always of paramount importance so our floor signs & logo tiles were inserted into the floor to remind trainees to wear safety boots, eye protection and ear protection.
