Ecotile shortlisted for International CSR Excellence Awards 2015 |
Industrial flooring experts Ecotile have been shortlisted as award winners at the International CSR Excellence Awards 2015.
The prestigious corporate and social responsibility awards ceremony will take place on Monday 29 June at the Empire Casino, Leicester Square London.
Although the categories have yet to be announced, it is widely expected that the award is being given under the Environmental Endeavour: Sustainability in Small Business category.
“It’s great to be recognised for our commitment to helping SME’s achieve their sustainability targets through our smart interlocking flooring,” says Ecotile MD James Gedye.
“We invest a huge amount of time and resource into making Ecotiles a real alternative to some of the wasteful and polluting industrial flooring solutions out there. With sustainability high on the corporate agenda we feel that our products are uniquely placed to meet the industrial and commercial flooring demands of the 21st Century.”
Sponsored by PPP Shopping, the International CSR Excellence Awards recognise firms who use their position to help communities, customers and the environment. Winners are featured in published papers that provide examples of best practice in corporate social responsibility, offering leadership to other firms looking to take their sustainability commitment to the next level.
The awards are judged by an independent panel of judges who have all demonstrated measurable success in the field of corporate social responsibility.
Ecotile interlocking floor tiles are made using a unique PVC mould system. They can be laid directly onto almost any surface without the need for screeds, adhesives or damp proof membranes. This significantly reduces the amount of harmful and polluting toxins used in factories, warehouses and commercial retail units across the UK and Europe.
Ecotile also runs a lifetime recycling service, collecting old Ecotile floors and recycling them to produce the next generation of their floor tiles.
The company manufactures its tiles at its UK production plant in Luton, Bedfordshire. It is one of the leading industrial flooring providers in Europe and provides flooring for some of the continents leading brands such as Rolls Royce, Nissan, TK Maxx and Royal Mail.
